    Things what I think I know about myself.

    OK, dammit. Redoing this because I keep making it obsolete. Damn personal evolution.

    1. My current descriptors are "queer" and "genderqueer" "xale" genderfluid and I'm pretty happy with those. I'm trying to transition to using gender-neutral third gender pronouns (xe and hir) to refer to myself, but 27 28 years of habit is hard to break. Any pronouns you use in relation to me are going to be some level of true. If you're trying to be utterly comprehensive, "xe" and "hir" work for me, but otherwise, just go with what feels right to you at any given moment. I like mix-and-match.

    2. I am emotionally disabled. Despite being a Psych major (see below) I've not yet managed to go get formally diagnosed. However, knowing what I know, I can guarantee you I am in the process of being diagnosed, and so far the therapist and I are in agreement that The therapist turned out to be kind of a dick who wanted me to fix myself through religion, so I'm back to square one, and I think I have anxiety (usually socially-triggered) with panic disorder. I ^probably have cyclical depression bipolar something fucked up in my head but I'm not sure what, and some days I literally feel like I'm going insane and am going to crawl right out of my own skin. I try to minimize the overall impact of that on my flist though.

    3. I'm a Psychology major in my junior senior year. I graduated cum laude with a BA in Psychology in May 2011. Don't know what my future plans are yet, but one option is Am planning on a graduate degree in Applied Social Psychology Sociology with a declared emphasis in gender and sexuality social inequality if I can manage it.

    4. My interests change. A lot. I'm a water sign, okay?

    5. I'm bad at filtering things. There is no TMI filter on my brain. I tend to blurt out anything I think about sex and body functions and... well, you get the idea. The only things that really get filtered are a) my original fiction ('cause I'm twitchy about copyrights) and b) my spiritual/humanist blatherings (I'm some flavor of atheist/agnostic/pagan, whichever one fits most at the moment). You can request to be on my spiritual filter (aptly named the "Crazy Tree-Hugging Hippie Pagan Filter"), but only I get to decide who goes on the original fiction filter.

    6. I'm ... kind of a geek. And kind of an elitist snob about it.

    7. I'm crap at commenting on other people's journals. I read my friends list every day (sometimes multiple times a day) but I rarely ever comment. I just kinda suck like that.

    9. I like lists.
